South Suburban Cancer Center is pleased to offer women Accelerated Partial Breast Irradiation (APBI), in a form of radiation known as brachytherapy. This treatment, which targets the tumor site from inside the breast following a lumpectomy, is increasingly used as an alternative to traditional whole breast radiation therapy.
